His Excellency Kol PREAP is the Minister attached to the Prime Minister who is assigned to assist the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia in NGO/INGO relations and build on his experience and his access to international networks and his core expertise he also provides supports to the Prime Minister in foreign investment and governance reforms. He was appointed to this position by His Majesty King of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Prior to becoming the Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia H.E Kol PREAP is well known as a reform advocate, governance expert as well as a social entrepreneur. He is so regarded because of his professional background as well as his personal aspirations. He started his career journey with non-governmental organizations for about 25 years and later switched to private sector as an entrepreneur and an investor in real estate and financial industries. Before moving to the private sector, H.E Kol PREAP served as the Executive Director of Transparency International (TI) Cambodia for eight years. During this period of time, he was elected to be a member of the International Board of Directors and served as Chairman of the International Board’s Audit Committee of Transparency International for three years. In addition, H.E Kol PREAP used to work for various international institutions such as the World Bank, UNDP, European Union, etc. His over two decades of work experience in key senior positions at these international organizations made him well known among local and international communities. Besides his professional careers, Kol PREAP also enjoys sharing his thoughts, wisdoms and experience to others. Thus, he has so far trained tens of thousands of Cambodian youngsters, and professionals on various topics including organizational leadership, communications and public speaking skills , sales, marketing and branding, negotiation skills and on professional and institutional integrity, etc. He has traveled around the world and was frequently invited to be a seasonal guest speaker at
