I am a filmmaker who has written, directed, produced, and acted in two short films. I am currently in talks with two independent studios in Los Angeles to develop a $5-10 million feature film I wrote and will direct if it gets green-lit. My first film was selected by 8 festivals and won several awards, including from the Hollywood New Directors Film Festival. My second short film is currently being considered by film festivals around the world, and I’m aiming for a premiere at Sundance. I would imagine my most useful talent for part-time work is my writing ability. If I can write screenplays Hollywood studios are interested in I can write anything, and at the risk of sounding arrogant, I am probably a more talented writer than anyone you have, by light years. I write fiction full-time, I don’t have a dayjob because I’m good at what I do, I’m just young, 25, and haven’t transcended wanting extra money on the side quite yet. Think of me as Don Draper for hire for part-time work, at least until my feature film gets green-lit.
