This framework enabled the IT Department to increase its maturity, improve the quality of its products and enhance its relationships with other business areas. • Lead project management, configuration management, processes and quality teams, implementing the processes related to these teams for the first time. This allowed the department to improve project control and the quality of the products developed. • Manage the outsourced Software Factory, including the writing of Terms of Reference, selecting, contracting, budgeting and human resource management, maximising the cost-benefit of the authorised projects. The $30 million-peso contract was audited by the Auditoria Superior de la Federación and there were no observations.
• Plan and tackle training on subjects like Project Management, Requirements Elicitation and Enterprise Architecture to all IT collaborators.
• Propose and identify strategic projects in order to support the achievement of the organisational strategic goals.
