Oct. 2006 - Mar. 2010Responsible for sales territory covering Western and Northern Michigan. This was a territory that did not have a sales rep until I was hired. In first year employed I was nominated for Sales MVP of the quarter twice, and quadrupled the business in my territory my first year. Responsibilities included prospecting new business, extensive cold calling, as well as growth in existing accounts. Selling and demonstrating the 40+ lines that Electro-Matic Distributes. Including Siemens, Turck, and others. Working out of a home office, with contact as needed via monthly meetings, and quarterly sales meetings at local and regional offices.
