Jan. 2023 - Nov. 2024Greater Seattle AreaIn this position I create new product from concept to sampling and every phase in between. I use both product design and illustrative skills to create artwork and product for our Seasonal DII Catalog. My job responsibilities include:
- Completing research of seasonal home decor trends, creating mood boards, and presenting trends to our design and sales teams.
- Creating collection artwork based off mood and concept boards including, patterns, graphics, and wovens. Or, art directing our freelance illustrators throughout the process of making collection artwork.
- Applying collection artwork to product CAD’s for our overseas vendors.
- Coordinating with vendors throughout the sampling phase, answering questions and giving feedback along the way. - Organizing product samples as they come in, and checking them for accuracy and quality.
- Assisting in product photo shoots, and attending press-check of the catalog to maintain color accuracy from the product to the printed catalog. Some Achievements:
- Created over 15 collections of product in my first year. - Created 2-3 more collections per catalog season containing more product than ever developed and carried by DII.
- Elevating overall design and brand voice, appealing to more customers, and driving sales through design.

One of my notable clients includes XBOX and The Production Network. While working with them, I created 4 custom murals, as well as 4 XBOX character illustrations to be displayed on the studio walls. Another high level client I have worked with is Red Games Co. I created 5 highly detailed illustrations for their Solitaire Stories mobile game. This project also included creating game assets like a Map, Achievement Badges, Objective Art, a Lobby Page, and a Billboard.
