AnthropologieOperations Manager
Apr. 2004 - Feb. 2007Santa Monica, California, United StatesWhen hired into Anthropologies I was quickly promoted from Manager-in-Training to oversee all loss prevention operations management for a large two-story retail store. This meant managing the Operations Supervisor and Receiving Manager, including performance improvement and goal achievement, all while handling outgoing shipments and incoming products, stock room, and staff training on policies and loss prevention methods. I continuously enforced federal, state, local regulations and company rules. Evaluated team member performance improvement and goal achievement. During my time as the Operations Manager I: - Dramatically reduced internal loss by redesigning the organization and space use of the stock area - Developed, pitched, and implemented new loss prevention policies to successfully address location-specific issues - Improved staff trust and engagement around loss prevention through personable and supportive leadership - Effectively managed costs through successful inventory management - Confidently addressed any concerns with suitable solutions
