Improved the time of DC order till the patient leaves the room in less than 90 minutes from 28% of the time to 58% of the time, creating over 18 hours per day in bed turnaround. Improved time of admission order in the ED to the patient in room in less than 90 minutes from 25% to over 55% of the time. -Spearheaded the opening of a consistently staffed ED Fast-Track and Fast admission unit. -Implemented the National Emergency Department Overcrowding Scoring System (NEDOCS) along with staged local and system responses to specific scoring levels. -Re-aligned clinical oversight committees including the advancement of a patient safety committee and the development of a Board Quality and Safety Committee to provide better clinical oversight and accountability in the organization.
