Also help these families through the application and screening process while corresponding with AFS-USA national hosting and compliance departments. -Ensure that AFS-USA is able to maximize its presence locally by establishing relationships with new schools and additional community organizations. -Monitor team compliance indicators throughout the program cycle, ensuring appropriate processes are in place and appropriate interventions occur when needed. -Ensure that emergency, temporary, and replacement host families are identified as needed for participant moves throughout the program, serve as the final authorizer of student moves into fully screened families, and ensure move notification emails are sent promptly to the President and Chief Government Relations, and to the Sponsored Programs Officer. -Maintain in-depth knowledge of the volunteer team to keep accurate and complete data in Global Link. -Identify gaps in the volunteer team where more volunteers are needed and implement volunteer recruitment and integration activities to fill these gaps. -Implement organizational projects and strategies, including leading organization for the 2019 Festival of Nations booth for the team. This completed the Missouri Gateway Area Team’s first AFS-USA “Lift Lyte” project. -Ensure that internal and external team communications and promotions are in alignment with AFS branding standards.

Helped train tour guides on EcoTourism department staff and other advocates on environmental issues. -Helped conduct workshops to strengthen environment protection and conservation. Also established a proposal for construction of new eco friendly amphitheater for a space to conduct these education programs. -Assembled enhancement of Eco Tour packages, promotions, and informative materials.
