The Operational Fire Protection crew carries out the compensatory measures necessary to meet the requirements of NFPA 805. For example, if, according to the code, our fire detectors are spaced too far apart in a given area, then an impairment would be created that would have someone walking down the area every hour until the situation is corrected. The people walking down those areas are members of the Operational Fire Protection group.
