As part of my duties I was responsible for building relationships with brands, universities and organisations in the UK and abroad, and creating PR opportunities to further promote GB Mag to the target audience. Social Media • Proficient user on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram and Scoopit. • Experienced with social media monitoring softwares such as Hootsuite and Tweetdeck. • Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Mail Chimp, Dropbox, Google docs, Prezi • Sourced and managed images for GB Mag’s fashion section and for the publications • Designed and wrote the copy for email shots according to a given brief • Monitored and collated the events’ media coverage and reported back to Brand partners • Secured international coverage on partners’ websites (inbound links and guests posts on blog sections) • Secured testimonials and gathered feedback to refine our offer Events and brand partnerships • Collaborated with Brand marketing teams to design exclusive events for targeted international audiences: event planning and scheduling, contents of goodie bags and guest list (invitations and RSVPs), and wrote the evaluation reports. • Built long-lasting relationships with brands. • Oversaw the distribution of 4,000 branded festival gift packs for Mid-Autumns Festival, Diwali and Chinese New Year with Selfridges, Folli Follie, O2 and British Airways. Business development: • Market research and international networking • Signed partnership agreements with leading agencies (British Council, Study Overseas Global, CIIC) • Sourced local business partners and managed orders (printers, fulfilment houses, courier companies)
