2. Overseeing the care, health, and training of the center's horses, ensuring their well-being and safety.
Developing and leading equestrian programs, such as riding lessons, horsemanship classes, trail rides, and overnight horse camping. Training and supervising equestrian staff and volunteers. Ensuring all equestrian activities meet safety standards and aligned with the organization's values.
3. Collaborating with the center's leadership team to align programs with organizational goals.
Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff and volunteers involved in outdoor education and equestrian programs. Coordinating schedules, resources, and logistics to ensure seamless program delivery.
4. Building relationships with schools, community groups, and stakeholders to promote the center's programs. Organizing events, workshops, or demonstrations to showcase the value of outdoor education and equestrian activities. Representing the organization in the community to enhance visibility and foster partnerships.
5. Managing budgets, supplies, and equipment for outdoor and equestrian programs. Maintaining trails, stables, and other facilities in collaboration with the maintenance team. Tracking participation, evaluating program effectiveness, and implementing improvements.
