The company has more than 80 supermarkets and a staff of more than 1,500 workers. Development of the Management and Control of the health and safety plans of the different supermarkets, offices and the two logistics areas, as well as emergency and hygiene plans. Statistical analysis of accident data, comparison with the sector, in terms of developing projects and formulating actions to diagnose structural, environmental and social situations, in order to reduce the annual percentage of accident rate of the company, and thus absenteeism. Coordination of preventive activities with suppliers, and checking of their preventive and hygienic plans. As well as with the different departments of the company, especially with the Medical Service itself and the Mutual. Also with the Social Agents of the preventive measures to develop in the company. Permanent contact with the Health and Safety Committee, formed by members of the two main unions in Spain, CC.OO. and UGT. Preparation of the Psychosocial Study of the company. Visits to the labour authority. Successful fulfilment of the Legal Audit at the level of Risk Prevention that the company should carry out. Likewise also the accomplishment of formative actions to all the levels, from courses of initial level to the workers of new incorporation to courses of basic level (60 hours) for the managers of shops, and specific formations on alimentary hygiene (system HACCP).
