Develop lesson plans, lecture notes, and teaching materials. Supervise students in classwork, assignments, and mathematical projects. Conduct tutorials, workshops, and seminars to reinforce mathematical concepts. Prepare, administer, and grade tests, exams, and other assessments. 2. Research and Academic Development Engage in research in pure or applied mathematics. Publish scholarly articles in reputable journals. Present research findings at academic conferences and seminars. Collaborate with colleagues on departmental or interdisciplinary research. Apply for research grants and funding opportunities. 3. Student Mentorship and Supervision Provide academic guidance and counseling to students. Supervise undergraduate projects, term papers, and dissertations. Mentor students interested in mathematics careers or postgraduate studies. 4. Administrative and Departmental Duties Participate in departmental and faculty meetings. Contribute to curriculum development and course design. Serve on committees (e.g., examination committee, accreditation, or quality assurance). Assist in organizing departmental seminars, workshops, and conferences. 5. Community Service & Professional Engagement Engage in outreach activities to promote mathematics in society and the country.
