Oct. 2022 - Apr. 2024Calabasas, California, United States- Serve as primary front-of-house manager in the absence of the General Manager.
- Responsible for handling all requests for onsite bookings of our Private Dining Room, and offsite catering and event requests for groups from 8-200 including providing initial information, scheduling, contract drafts and negotiation, through to full-service event execution and staffing and liaising with outside vendors.
- Successfully train, develop, and motivate all restaurant staff in meeting and exceeding expectations for their respective roles.
- Oversee reservation management on all booking software and monitor seating flows in real time to optimize bookings and guest requests.
- Provide leadership through providing a positive work environment, hiring, counseling, disciplining and terminating restaurant employees as appropriate.
- Buildout and oversight of to-go order platforms as well as operations on Toast POS
- Opening and/or closing the restaurant, including the supervision and oversight of high standards of execution for the floor and all operational duties.
