An average of USD 15,0 million mobilized and USD 5,0 million raised in international and national public and private resources in this period to address key sustainability and biodiversity conservation issues related with sustainable food production, energy sector planning and land use change and planning. Developing working relationship with national and local governments, corporate sector, civil society and local communities. Engagement with local media and country offices of main reginal and multilateral agencies and the diplomatic body. Leading the process for the declaration of the first municipal area of natural and cultural heritage in the Venezuelan llanos (1,2 million acres). Leading the process to declare 5,5 million has of new marine protected areas in Venezuela as a result of an ecorregional planning exercise developed jointly with the oil and gas sector in Venezuela
