Profile of Afua Konadu Mensah Afua Konadu Mensah is an experienced business operations professional with over 12 years working experience spanning across industries including Banking, Digital transformation, and Telecommunications (Fiber Optics and Fintech). Afua has experience in the banking sector, having worked with Barclays Bank (now Absa), Fidelity and Stanbic banks in various capacities in the areas of banking operations, sales, and relationship management. She is currently the Deputy Head for Corporate Affairs and External Relations at the Minerals Income Investment Fund, a sovereign wealth Fund, and is responsible for establishing the strategy and policy direction for internal and external communications as well as corporate relations of the Fund. As Deputy Head of corporate Affairs, Afua also provides an oversight to develop strategy and programmes for the Fund’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities. In addition, she provides stakeholder management and external relations to corporate organisations and other stakeholders.
