May. 2023 - Jun. 2023Kortrijk, Flemish Region, BelgiumWhile I was in my ERASMUS+ project this year in Kortrijk, Belgium, I got the opportunity to work with VZW WIT.H organization for 8 weeks on a project they desired me and seven other lucky international students to realize. The project is called "Nothing about us without us" and is based on trying to create a more inclusive society where the definition of the word "crip" is evergreen, fluid and adaptable in any kind of target gorup which needs to work with it. In these 8 weeks we did interviews and ateliers with lots of people in the age range of 15 - 30 (youngsters), the final product becoming an art exhibition with the work created together with them and a short move of nine minutes which tries to break the norms of what stereotypes still means in our times and instilling to more empathy, kindness, understanding and love. We had a buget of 1000 euros for this from the company and a partenership agreement. I do count this as a personal achivment and my first real experience with creating an event from the scratch, due to the fact that everything, from plans, brainstorming, structures, research to sewing, deocrating, and arranging the final exhibition hall as well as serving the food was made by me and my collegues.

There, they taught me many skills as working better with Microsoft Office,and talking with all kind of people from directors of radio stations like KISS.FM Romania to people coming from remoted villages of Romania, creating posts on social media, moderating videos on Youtube, Facebook, making PR gift for people we worked with, press monitoring and a lot of other skills in this area

Secondly, from October 2018 to May 2019 I worked for Teatrul Ancuta, mainly as an animator for children at birthday parties. Before every party, I prepared the games and the toys needed in those activities, helping the magician to be ready and not have a problem during the party. I did face painting, and ballons, and talked to children if they asked for it, trying my best to give them the best state of mind. Occasionally, I did participate as an actor in theatre plays organized by this company. These plays were active plays, with children being integrated and listened by the actors in trying to solve "problems" that occurred during the play. Our politic was that everybody must feel great and safe at our shows.
