Jul. 2020 - Mar. 2025Work primarily with Middle East and Europe Area Coordinator to support existing regional partnerships and cultivate new working partnerships, mainly focused on issues of migration/refugees, racism, gender, poverty, and climate action. Promote friendly and considerate relationships across cultural and experiential boundaries. Collaborate on projects with regional colleagues as part of the Middle East and Europe office. Responsible for oversight of two regional staff members. Helped build and promote volunteer program with European partner organizations. Work with communications department for effective program advertising and recruitment. Organizational assistance and participation in conferences and regional gatherings. Cooperation with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) group during Ukraine war outbreak; support regional partners in their cooperation with PDA. Write quarterly updates for U.S. based constituents. Promote relevant thematic issues between European and American audiences and constituents. Delegate to COP28 and COP29 UN climate conferences.
