- Accelerated the County’s workforce programs, including program and fiscal oversight, operations, and personnel; managed an annual budget of $10 million.
- Afforded administrative support and strategic vision to the Workforce Investment Board; assisted with providing risk assessments and programmatic direction.
- Collaborated with regional workforce directors and participated in Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) Workforce initiatives including a newly formed technology committee.
- Active participant in national, state-wide, and regional workforce legislative and strategic planning conferences and/or summits.
DIVISION DIRECTOR, Career and Family Support Services: - Managed seven mid-level managers for a division of approximately 140 employees.
- Provided administrative, fiscal, operational and personnel oversight for the Division comprised of three, major federally funded social service and workforce development programs; managed a combined annual budget of $40 million.
- Formulated the Division’s strategic plan; participated in the development and implementation of the overall departmental strategic plan.
- Enlisted executive leadership in the development and delivery of customized senior staff leadership, management, and diversity and inclusion programs that contributed to a collaborative, inclusive, and equitable environment.
- Drafted and presented resolutions to the Board of County Commissioners, presenting contracts, annual budgets, and economic and workforce matters.
- Pioneered a data-driven culture through the development of a quality team charged with data collection and reporting, and process design and implementation; employed cutting-edge project management and process engineering techniques.
