Met with students on a daily basis to decrease mild to severe behavior concerns that included cases of harassment, physical aggression, vandalism, weapon use/possession, and threats to self and others in addition to negative classroom behaviors such as inappropriate language, non-compliance, and off-task behavior. Increased positive student behaviors by decreasing major referrals at three elementary school sites, of over 100 student caseload, by as much as 52% and minor referrals by as much as 58%. Regularly met with parents and administration to inform on individual student progress and address further areas of concern to promote parent involvement in student success.

Developed and implemented group therapy meetings for girls aged 12-18 in addition to one on one counseling. Worked with staff members to monitor behavior in a variety of settings including but not limited to, school site, community outings, and home area. Engaged in de-escalation of verbal outbursts as well as violent physical aggression towards staff and other clients. Distributed daily medication to clients and maintained medicine log for all clients. Created community connections for extracurricular activity opportunities for clients including gymnastics instruction, horseback riding, general volunteering. Maintained daily notes of girls' behavior in order to monitor therapy goals over periods of time.
