Inbound service was responsible for preparing and receiving product into the building so that it can be combined in orders and shipped to customers. Receiving service is able to process over 200,000 units a day in a single warehouse. At our peak we operated a 7 FC Zulily fulfillment network to ship 83 million units annually. Inbound was responsible for the following services: Prep, Receiving, Stow, Returns, Cycle Count, Space Management, Exception tracking, and Labor Management/rate tracking. * Designed and launched new returns processing software that interfaces with happy returns and shopify in 3 months. * Created a plan and designed new systems to transition our labor management system from monolith to microservice architecture. * Migrate existing CI-CD pipelines and production environments of services from on-prem systems to AWS, allowing us to eliminate almost all on-prem systems.
* Supported 7 Warehouses with 1000+ employees each.
* Devops support including Kubernetes and AWS experience. * Team leader in FCS for code direction and tech stack direction
* Mentored New developers bringing them up to speed on our technology stack and helping them develop and progress their careers.
