Art of CommunitasFounder
Nov. 2025Art of Communitas explores how humans design shared experiences that generate belonging, meaning, and collective transformation. I study and build participatory systems—rituals, immersive environments, and social structures—that create moments of communitas: the temporary suspension of hierarchy in which people experience deep connection and shared humanity. My work sits at the intersection of: • participatory and immersive art
• festival and ritual culture
• community architecture and social design
• cultural mythmaking and narrative systems Through writing, public conversation, and experimental projects, Art of Communitas examines questions like: Why do certain spaces instantly create connection between strangers?
What design patterns create belonging and trust in communities?
How do ritual, play, and myth shape collective identity?
What can immersive art and festival culture teach us about the future of social life? Art of Communitas functions as both a cultural inquiry and a creative practice. Projects range from interactive installations and festival experiences to essays and frameworks that analyze how communal experiences are constructed. I’m especially interested in the future of designed communal experiences—how artists, organizers, technologists, and cultural institutions intentionally create spaces that foster connection and meaning. - Oversee contract and performance-based bonus reconciliation for 100+ creators.
