Apr. 2022 - Nov. 2023In my work as the Education Partnerships Development Manager, using a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens I provided strategic leadership and enablement to expand partnerships and adoption of our research-based, high-quality PreK-12 programs for students and educators. I collaborate with leadership to create and expand state-level partnerships and initiatives, provide strategies and resources for large district acquisitions, create sales enablement tools and communications, and facilitate additional development initiatives across the team including promoting funding opportunities and connecting to organizations supporting our initiatives. In this role, I help inform and create compelling new content and materials including specialty webinars, custom proposals content, drive content for large RFP applications, sales presentations, and thought leadership events. I work closely with the Education Partnerships Director and Regional Managers to ensure quality best practices and methodologies across the team. I am also a liaison across departments to ensure a robust district partner feedback loop with marketing/go-to-market, product, equitable access, policy and advocacy, crisis response, and others. As the Education Partnerships Development manager, I also focused on market research, competitive positioning, new funding, grant opportunities, and emergent projects and initiatives to create solutions to expand reach for the organization. I regularly presented at conferences, on national webinars, and as an advocate for social-emotional learning, child protection, bullying prevention, trauma-sensitive practices, and educator wellbeing.
