Sep. 2015Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Area• Oversee the hiring, recruiting, and screening process; interview candidates to get information on their work history, skills, training, and education, as well as share information on open roles and respective responsibilities. • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet recruitment goals and staffing needs; partner with stakeholders to strategically support growth, fostering future talent pipeline needs. • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance and support to ensure successful recruitment efforts. • Manage administrative tasks related to the recruitment process, including documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with Navy recruitment policies. • Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments of potential candidates, evaluating their qualifications and skills. • Select candidates, confirm their qualifications, and refer them to hiring managers. • Communicate with candidates to inform them of application status. • Analyze employment data related to the position and create reports based on findings; monitor and report on recruitment performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets. • Advise management on planning, organizing, and executing recruiting strategies; provide information on the overall hiring process, including interviewing, training, onboarding, and performance management. • Identify, recommend, and execute ongoing recruiting operations solutions to maximize return on investment and improve processes. • Lead improvement initiatives, optimizing candidate and hiring manager experience using efficient processes and innovative sourcing strategies. • Act as a liaison between the Navy and the local community, participating in events, career fairs, and outreach programs to promote Navy careers. • Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for recruiting staff to enhance their skills.
