Started 14 years, the business has evolved its services from basic mobile services to now being focused on its primary strength in eCommerce strategy, platform development, optimization services and App development. I joined Fontera to perform two roles – the first is to guide and continuously develop the Fontera brand into a market challenger role and establish the business as a strong contender in the SA eCommerce market. The other role is to work directly with Clients developing both business and marketing strategies in order for them to embrace a new digital channel and effectively utilize them. Core functions include writing and presenting of Strategy, competitor and market analysis, provision of global best practice in eCommerce design and functionality, Conceptual design and wire framing, finished designs, project management, marketing strategy development including Omni channel deployment, campaign development, digital creative direction and implementation, digital channel implementation, reporting and feedback. I perform these roles and manage a small team of designers and project managers to produce the work requirements across the following business and brands: Edgars Red Square, Edgars Club, Banks Kitchen Boutique, Kurt Geiger, Spitz, Green Cross (all part of the AVI group), Builders Warehouse (Massmart), &Threads and Fancy Store.
