Mar. 2019 - Mar. 2021Doha, Qatar● Prepare and submit accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulations. ● Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management. ● Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels effectively and minimize stock-outs, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction. ● Analyze cost structures and expenses, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements to enhance profitability. ● Handle retail-specific accounting aspects, such as point of sale (POS) transactions, sales tax, and revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. ● Oversee cash handling procedures, including daily cash reconciliations and bank deposits, maintaining accuracy and security in financial transactions. ● Manage shop leasing, including negotiation and administration of lease agreements, to optimize our retail space utilization. ● Assist in internal and external audits, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure adherence to accounting principles and legal requirements.
