Chairperson of the Information Management Team, a multidisciplinary group of about a dozen employees who work with and maintain docketing and other critical patent data resources and systems. Develop and make available accurate and timely financial data and other month-to-month metrics allowing for data-driven decision-making, issues identification, and problem solving. Interview, onboard, train, coach, and skills development of patent administrative staff. Plan, call for, set agenda, and facilitate staff meetings. • Track expenses and manage patent prosecution activities and cases. • Patent Prosecution Paralegal: MPEP, Private PAIR, EFS-Web, EBC. • Trademarks, pivot tables, database management • Facilitate, calendar, and manage time-sensitive and confidential matters. • Research and compile data and special reports for managers and business units. • Lead person for Information Management Team projects pertinent to systems and processes. • Prepare various, high-level documents and presentations used worldwide. Present to peers and management. • Prioritize projects, plan meetings and schedules for patent personnel. • Contact person and department resource inside and outside of company, demonstrating a professional demeanor in interfacing with senior-level executives, employees, customers, and vendors. • Work on problems of diverse scope requiring troubleshooting, situation assessment, problem solving, and plan execution skills. • Prepare, edit and write Professional Services Agreements, routine and advanced correspondence such as letters, email, presentations, and reports. • Exercise judgment and rely on experience to plan and accomplish goals, using a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
