Jan. 2013 - Jun. 2017Elmira, OregonCurrently as the Wine Club and Special Events manager, I aid in the decision on which wines we select for the upcoming release, as well as collaborate with our winemaker on tasting notes, and paired recipes for each release. I also develop all of the contact materials needed email blasts and notification regarding the wine club releases. Of course, I also manage the processing of all of the wine club subscriptions and generate reports for sales and who we need to contact after the release has been processed. Not only do I maintain the contact and billing information for all 1000+ wine club members, I develop, plan, and execute all of the special Wine Club Events, and help plan and promote specialty events, such as Weddings, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, and large birthday parties. I am also in charge of collaborating with our owner and winemaker to develop interesting and exciting events not just for our wine club member parties, but also for the 3-4 fundraising events we host each year. This year we have fundraisers for Branches of Valor (Help Veterans & First Responders), Springfield Education Foundation, Briggs Elementary, Pinot For a Pint (Blood Drive's- 4 of them), MEMA (Musicians Emergency Medical Assoc.), Dive for a Cure (Breast Cancer), and a Concours de Elegance with funds benefiting CASA. I also oversee 7 tasting room employees, and create the monthly schedule for the Winery Tasting Room. I also have been working with one other manager, as well as our owners to develop our new wine bar called the LaVelle Wine Bar & Grille. From helping with the selection of wines that will be featured, to the design of the 30ft bar, to the overall atmosphere of the space. We are having a lot of exciting things going on at both locations, however my focus is on the Winery.

Jan. 2010 - Jan. 2013During my time at King Estate, I assisted our wine club manager by, setting up the quarterly wine club releases and making any necessary changes that had been specified to us. For example, if someone wanted to add wines to their current release, or delay the shipping date, I helped with those requests. I also helped with our contact management. From developing email marketing blasts, to maintaining all up to date information for our 2500 wine club members. Aside from the wine club, I also assisted with all of our direct to consumer sales. I processed all of our orders, which could be placed in person at our winery, as well as online. With processing orders, I needed to make sure we had a valid address to ship the wine, not all states were eligible to ship to, as well as make sure the customer' orders were correct. Before I became the wine club assistant, I was a wine educator and worked at the concierge desk in the King Estate tasting room and restaurant. This has given me the opportunity to develop great customer service skills and a wonderful passion and knowledge about wine.
