Jun. 2017 - Mar. 2021Rockville, MarylandDeveloped more than 50 messaging platforms and toolkits for the National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, National Eye Institute, and National Library of Medicine using equity centered design principles to ensure culturally relevant, consistent messages reached healthcare, patient, and academic research audiences; crafted and implemented more than 50 NCI communications plans, including NCI’s 25th World Cancer Congress messaging and toolkits; led the development of NCI's four key focus areas in collaboration with Presidential appointee and former NCI Director, Dr. Ned Sharpless, and his executive leadership team by facilitating 10 workshops to gather input from internal and external stakeholders; launched and managed the bilingual, inaugural NCI Cancer Information Service (CIS) Campaign “Can Get Answers” for healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers across the United States; leveraged the inaugural campaign’s adaptability to launch the CIS COVID-19 paid and social media campaign in less than one month; led messaging development and strategy for the CDC’s National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases “Get Ahead of Sepsis” and “Be Antibiotics Aware” bilingual campaigns.
