Nov. 2003 - Jul. 2010Ramstein AB, GermanyI managed an annual exchange program between the US Air Force and 8 European nations and supported biennial European and African Defense Attaché conferences, developed a strategic plan to guide senior leaders through a broad mission transformation; and led a team to determine feasibility of moving a major functional center from England to Germany. • As the international exchange program manager, my work to identify subject matter experts, develop agendas, and track action items between exchanges was continually lauded as organized, efficient, and key to the success of 16 exchanges over a two-year period. As Command lead for Attaché conferences, my team of 7 support professionals was awarded special recognition from senior Washington DC leadership. • My comprehensive strategic planning support was instrumental in US Air Forces in Europe's (USAFE) implementation of a functional change from "in garrison" law enforcement to an "outside the wire" security defense posture. • The feasibility analysis I led was one in a long series. My team’s analysis was definitive and resulted in leadership’s decision to keep the functional center in England, saving the Command billions in construction, renovation, and relocation costs.
