• Lead curriculum development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation to meet current practice standards and community needs.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and operational planning to support program growth and sustainability.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate OTA faculty and staff, fostering a collaborative and student-centered learning environment.
• Advise and support OTA students on academic progression, professional development, and career planning.
• Promote student retention and success through data-driven program improvements.
• Maintain full compliance with ACOTE accreditation standards and prepare all required accreditation documents and self-studies.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with clinical sites, local employers, and community stakeholders for student fieldwork placements.
• Represent the OTA program at college, community, and professional events.
• Advocate for the OTA profession and the program within local and national OT communities.
• Lead program assessment and strategic planning initiatives to address workforce demands and emerging practice areas.
• Integrate innovative teaching methods, technology, and evidence-based practices into the curriculum.
• Develop and implement initiatives to expand the program’s reach, such as hybrid or online learning options.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Proven experience with program accreditation and compliance processes.
• Commitment to fostering diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environments.
• Ability to inspire faculty, students, and community partners.
