Angela Ukara-Makinwa I am a seasoned Brand and Experiential Marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience driving growth for multinational and local brands across Africa. My expertise spans brand management, advertising, experiential marketing, and strategic communications, with a proven ability to lead teams, manage agency operations, and deliver campaigns that exceed business goals. Currently, I serve as Director, Client Engagement, Strategy & Creative at EXP Marketing Nigeria, where I oversee strategy development, creative planning, and client portfolio growth. My leadership has impacted global and regional brands including Coca-Cola, MTN, Samsung, BAT, Airtel, Reckitt, Pfizer, Interswitch, and Jack Daniel’s. I am also the Vice President of the Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) and was named among the 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing & Communications (2024) and the 100 Inspirational Women in Nigeria by The Guardian. Recognized with multiple industry awards, I continue to contribute to the profession as a lecturer, moderator, and thought leader in marketing and experiential strategy.
