Projects and Achievements: Delivery of a contact center system that has helped in managing customer engagements through monitored calls and social media interactions. The system allows for ticketing, escalations, and performance monitoring. Having managed its implementation, Minet’s abandoned call rate has reduced from 17% to 3.5% post-implementation as well as achieving a customer satisfaction rate of 98%. Minet will equally reduced its infrastructure cost by over 80% due to the introduction of soft phones which eliminates the need for physical lines and gadgets. Delivery of actuarial software to help in doing all actuarial valuations and IFRS17 calculations. Delivery of a healthcare system that helps improve the management of the healthcare department’s operations such as service provider management, scheme management, member identification and verification, pre-authorizations, case and claims management, and finance. Ensuring the company's ISO certification through monitoring company-wide quality objectives and enforcement of ICT SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). I have been part of the committee that has seen Minet retain its ISO certification by enabling operational improvement and efficiency.

Sep. 2019 - Jul. 2022Job Purpose: Growing the company’s market penetration by increasing the number of payment methods through integration with banks, card schemes, mobile money providers and aggregators in Africa. Projects and Achievements: I was in charge of the projects that increased the number of payment methods from 87 to 149, 40 across 9 new African markets as well as an additional 22 payment methods in existing markets. This enabled the onboarding of new global merchants operating in various African markets on the Tingg platform as well as the expansion of existing merchants into new markets. This accounted for a revenue increase of $23m in the first year and an average increase of 11% in the monthly recurrent revenue

Oct. 2015 - Aug. 2019Job Purpose: Conducting ICT-based research work for the incubation center to determine viable projects to onboard. Consultancy and project implementation services for e-governance solutions, assisting county governments improve their revenue collection mechanisms and revenue management through automated systems. Projects and Achievements: Design, develop, and implement a revenue collection and management system for County Governments in Kenya. My team and I were able to roll out the system in five counties successfully: Kiambu, Kisumu, Kilifi, Busia & Taita Taveta. The most notable achievement was in the County Government of Kiambu where the county was able to collect KES 1.2B up from KES 700M in the first financial year post-implementation. The subsequent year saw a further increase in revenue to KES 1.7B, which is a 41% growth. Kiambu revenues have steadily gone higher since the implementation of the system.
