Mar. 2020 - Mar. 2023As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Ajocard Ltd, I managed AWS resources like EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. I administered EKS clusters using Terraform for seamless application scaling and deployment, and implemented AWS Cognito for secure user authentication. I was responsible for AWS cost optimization with nops.io and used New Relic for application performance monitoring. I streamlined MongoDB management using Studio3T and led the SRE and infrastructure team, focusing on micro-services with Serverless Framework, Lambda functions, and AWS Cognito. A key project was consolidating over 300 API Gateway resources into one using Terraform, and integrating Interswitch payment solutions with our microservices, involving VPN and Kubernetes Node Group integrations. My role involved participating in on-call rotations and incident response to minimize downtime. I extensively used New Relic for detailed monitoring, creating SLOs and SLIs, and worked closely with development teams to ensure these metrics were met. I integrated security protocols into systems, complying with industry standards, and authored technical documentation to enhance operations. I developed automated monitoring and alerting systems, improving service availability, and evaluated existing processes for architectural enhancements. I built CI/CD pipelines using BitBucket Pipelines, automated routine tasks, and analyzed server logs for troubleshooting. Implementing Linkerd in Kubernetes, I improved microservice communication security, observability, and reliability. I used Linkerd for load balancing and failure recovery, and deployed Prometheus on EKS for real-time monitoring, using Grafana for comprehensive dashboards. I configured Metabase for business data analytics, creating custom reports and dashboards for various departments.
