The Lower Bois D’Arc project is a $135 million 2.5 mile long earthen dam embankment. The embankment
consists of 6 million yards of zoned clay and earthen material. The structural components of the project include a 2 mile long, 90 inch wide pipeline, a concrete intake tower, emergency spillway and two bridge structures that consist of more than 35,000 cubic yards of concrete. As the assistant project manager, I personally oversee all structural components of the project including all rebar and structural concrete along with managing all onsite batch plants. • Supervise the management of subcontractors on job: recruiting, proposals, contracts, scheduling, billing as well as overseeing all activity.
• Oversee all structural aspects of project including: concrete, structural steel, large steel pipe installation, bridge installation, etc.
• Sign off on all submittals and RFIs.
• Meticulously handle budget estimation and cost control responsibilities, closely tracking project phases to ensure completion within established budgets and timeframes.
• Act as liaison between CMAR (Construction Management At Risk) coordination team and design engineering team.
• Daily meetings and updates on project status and upcoming scopes of work.
