Feb. 2023 - Oct. 2024Crawley, England, United Kingdom• Manage and off load supplier deliveries of glass products and other door aperture products (special vision panels/glazing beads and grilles). • Off load other supplier vehicles as required. • Carry out quality, quantity, and dimensional checks of delivered product against the Forza purchase orders and supplier delivery notes. • Clearly note and report any discrepancies and errors to the Production Support Office (PSO) and annotate all relevant supplier documents. • Label all glass receipts with the relevant Forza job information and locate safely and tidily in the warehouse. • Update the ‘Glass Control’ log to provide visibility of the status of all glass orders. • Carry out stock ‘issues’ and ‘returns’ on Sage ERP* when product is issued to the factory or returned to stock. • In accordance with the factory demand requirements, select and prepare the labelled glass into job batches for production use. • Safely transfer and locate the prepared jobs into the designated bays in the factory; care taken to ensure potential for damage is limited. • Ensure raw material stock batches are rotated on a first in first out basis. • Ensure all materials are labelled including date delivered and other relevant information as instructed. • Work closely with colleagues in the office and factory in relation to the materials under your remit. • Liaise with colleagues in the relevant depts, advising any issues, limitations or material shortages that may affect the factory’s ability to deliver orders on time. • Carry out month end and quarterly stock takes of materials. • When physically moving glass or other products always use the correct PPE and follow the safe material handling training procedures.
