Feb. 2012Oversee operations of all residential programs for Youth Bridge, Inc. Includes residential treatment facility for substance abuse recovery (DYS adjudicated males, aged 14-18 years), an emergency shelter in Benton County, AR, two group homes for females, and a transitional living program for 18-23 year old clients and their children. Responsible for contract review and compliance, licensing board compliance, staff hiring and training, disciplinary actions, investigation of major incidents, to include review of camera footage, interviews with involved parties, and oversight of report writing and other documentation. Works closely with Program Director and Director of Quality Assurance to ensure that all policies meet state and accreditation agency standards.

Nov. 2004 - Dec. 2011Supervised 100-120 mental health workers and care coordinators at an 84-bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for juveniles. Intervened to prevent self-harming and assault behavior on a daily basis. Implemented and reviewed facility policies related to elopement prevention, verbal de-escalation and physical restraint. Taught and trained more than 500 individuals total in all aspects of psychiatric care to include conflict resolution, basic psychological concepts, and applicable state regulations. Communicated with all members of treatment and leadership team (CEO, Medical Director, Nurses, clinicians, coordinators, staff) to ensure safety and milieu management.
