I’m a queer writer, artist, researcher, and educator working across writing, art, and inquiry. Trained as a professor of English & American Literature, I now mentor and collaborate with artists, writers, researchers, and activists internationally—helping people find the places where their work truly belongs. I’m the author and editor of Joni Mitchell: New Critical Readings (Bloomsbury, 2019) and essays on queer writing and creative non-fiction. My editorial projects include Growing Up Communist in the Netherlands and Britain (Amsterdam University Press, 2022) and Mediatized Dramaturgy (Methuen, 2021). My practice is relational: I treat stories as living systems that connect people, ideas, and worlds. Whether through mentoring, editing, or co-creation, I help others bring their stories to life with clarity, integrity, and resonance.
