I participated in two different occupational ergonomic research projects, translated (Finnish-Swedish) content to FIOH:s homepage and assisted the manager of the ergonomics department with other on going research preparations. I still look back at this internship and see it as a turning point in my education and career development. During my time as a research assistant I decided to continue further into academic healthcare studies and aspire for a career position in healthcare administration and development. My main tasks included child care and family assistance. I was responsible for three wonderful children in the age of 5 months, 2 years and 4 years. I enjoyed living abroad and getting to know the Norwegian, very outdoorsy way of life. Moving abroad as a young adult is probably the best things I could have done at that age. It was an encouraging experience to be responsible for three small children and learn how to organized your day in order to manage all the household and child care work.
