I am disabled now because of a car accident, but I used to work as an assistant at a dental office. Also my ex husband and I owned our own mechanic shop where I worked with him in the business side of the shop. Also because of being disabled I was able to be a constant caregiver for my mother for the last 2 years of her life. She suffered from dementia. In some way I feel I have assisted most of my life. Patients, customers or family, you just try to satisfy a need.
