May. 2013 - Mar. 2025Princeton, NJProvides research compliance administration for the animal subjects research program, including supporting the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). • Performs IACUC protocol management, including tracking of protocols, pre-review for administrative and compliance-related matters, and serving as a front-line communicator between IACUC, RIA, and faculty and students to ensure the effective, timely, and compliant review of protocols. • Assists in the development and delivery of educational and outreach programs for principal investigators, researchers, committee members, and other staff. • Assists with quality assurance programs, including post-approval monitoring and resolving issues related to adherence to IACUC-approved protocols, institutional policy, and other regulations. • Supports internal and external program reviews and site visits related to the animal program (e.g. IACUC semi-annual program reviews and facility site-inspections, AAALAC accreditation visits, USDA inspections) • Understands the mission and needs of RIA, including service to the faculty and a thorough understanding of how federal requirements and best practices relate to University compliance goals. • Supports the development, implementation, and management of policies and new processes in the compliance area.
