Feb. 2023 - Nov. 2024Perform and oversee all Tribal operations for approximately 3,752 enrolled members of a federally recognized Sovereign Nation. Directly supervised 25 employees, including evaluating them and disciplinary actions. Support Human Resource Administrator in all aspects of employment including evaluations, creation of position descriptions, wage evaluations/determinations, disciplinary processes, etc., for 165 employees of the Tribe. Grant management- identify, and review all documents related to the identified 90 federal grants, submit all required documents through grant life to identified funders, secured new federal grant funding for current fiscal year. Direct all business-related matters of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes consisting of 95 grants and a 80-million-dollar budget for the following departments: Human Resources, Health Services (DME Medical Supplies, Dementia, Diabetes Prevention, Public Health, Native Care), Enrollment, Tribal Administration, Facility and Maintenance, Justice Department (Victim Services, Offender Reintegration), Social Services (Indian Child Welfare, Adult Protection, Adoption, Guardianship, Tribal TANF), Environmental, Substance Abuse and Mental Health (Counseling, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention & Education, Tribal Youth Connections), Procurement, and Accounting, Preservation, Enrollment, Native Connections, Nutrition, Food Distribution, Preservation, Child Care Development Fund. Train program Administrators and Directors how to monitor and modify programs meet all federal requirements for 90 active grants. Successfully reviewed, updated, and streamlined the Personnel Policy and Procedure Handbook. Facilitated the new Employee Wage scale employee wage scale. Ensure program budget proposals and modifications are prepared and submitted
