Aug. 2012 - Jul. 2013Work in the classroom with K-4th grade children who suffer from multiple types of developmental disabilities.These children are not able to be in the main classrooms because of their disabilities. Participate in planning activities and work assignments for students. Teach/lead small groups with various types of learning. Assist teacher in carrying out their activities and work assignments for individual students and small groups. Follow daily lesson plans. Prepare for daily and future lessons by assembling materials necessary. Assist in evaluating the progress of students. Suggest new ideas and methods to help students with their learning. Assist with maintaining classroom discipline and control. Constant communication with the teacher about progress and non progress of individual students. Responsible for getting students to and from specials, inclusion classes and therapies. Performing any other duties asked by the teacher or administration.
