-Provide homework and class work instruction and tutorials.
-Collaborates with youth, parents, and school day teachers to ensure that youth receive effective academic sessions.
-Facilitates all academic sessions and serves as the lead academic instructor.
-Develop assessment tools to document academic progress.
-Carry out daily program tasks related directly to the position's scope and responsibility.
Promote, monitor, evaluate and ensure that 21st CCLC site run smoothly with a high level of service to participants.
-Timely collection and submittal of data/reports as required by 21st CCLC, Bright From The Start and CACFP.
-Assist as needed in all aspects of the YMCA and school community.
-Participation in and partner with After School cabinet activities.
-Responsible for maintaining and reporting incident/accident paperwork in a timely fashion.
-performs duties in accordance with the policies, goals, mission, values and objectives established by the Metropolitan Atlanta YMCA, Branch Strategic Plan, Safety Protocols Including COVID, and Member Services Guidelines and Non-Negotiables. Emphasis will be placed on member service, program knowledge, member/staff safety, and communication with members and staff. Make workshops to engage parents with students on various topics.
