Projects worked on include Business Process Improvement, New Business Process development, Strategy Development, Human Resources Management (Organisational Design, Remuneration Strategy), Business Planning and Project Management. In my capacity as a consultant, I have provided advisory services to the Owners/CEO's of various start-up and small companies. Career Highlights are: - Yalu, a R40m start-up fin-tech company providing Credit Life Insurance in the South African consumer market. I was appointed by the CEO to provide consulting services to improve their current systems and processes to enable sales growth and build capacity for the company to scale up. My contribution involved new channel and product integration into their systems, developing their project prioritisation process, resource mapping and capacity planning and embedding effective project management practices in their business. In June 2019, the organisation reached readiness for scalability and successfully raised funds to expand their business. - Bigen Africa, an infrastructure development and civil engineering company with operations in 7 African countries and a staff complement of 500. The company had immature Human Resources practices with respect to their grading system and talent management process. I designed a tool that allowed them to evaluate, identify and record their key Talent across multiple disciplines and, together with their HR team, successfully graded all employees through a new grading methodology and process designed by my partner and I.
