Apr. 2005 - Feb. 2009Product Manager for Value Stationery product line. Develop all product specifications, create bill of materials and negotiates cost of goods with foreign factories. Developes programs for major retailers across many channels, including Craft (Michael’s & Joann’s), Mass (Wal-mart, Target, Kmart), Club (Costco, BJ’s) and Off Price (TJ Maxx, Ross). Works closely with China office and China factories, resolving issues, managing cost savings projects and travels overseas when needed. Analyzes sales and profit margin information to make decisions on product recommendations. Works with Sales organization to develop strategies for customers and channels of distribution.
