Routinely briefed senior command regarding family and command program effectiveness, training standards, and partnerships. Tracked and managed the relocation budget (about $20,000) and assets (about $30,000) assigned to the ACS programs to include resources, extensive inventory of essential household items, and event materials. Decreased the cost of newcomers’ orientation by 55% through improved accounting and better allocation of resources to ensure the sustainability of the program in its entirety. Briefed commands on the benefits of family program participation while realizing the hardships likely to occur if no action is taken. Implemented the Army Managers’ Internal Control Program (MICP) to ensure program compliance with guidelines, regulations, and laws of all programs throughout the family center. Evaluated feedback regarding sponsorship and newcomers’ orientation effectiveness in order to develop summaries to brief senior leadership as well as adjust or modify related trainings and events. Arranged, provided, and presented executive summaries, technical briefs, policy letters, story boards, orientations, trainings, and workshops on topics such as sponsorship, newcomers’ orientation, repatriation, relocation, finances, employment, Exceptional Family Member Program, and Army Volunteer Corp. Instructed, directed, and modified Japan Specific Sponsorship Training for Soldiers and Civilians while partnering with Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs to ensure trained sponsors have the necessary support to carry out their sponsorship duties. Maintained certification for the active information displayed on the Military Installations page for Camp Zama. Routinely monitored Garrison and MWR websites for accurate relocation and family program information.
