My focus is on reducing sheet walk, sheet breaks, and line stops through digitization, best practice deployment, and process optimization. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and more than a decade of experience in manufacturing automation, I bring a data-driven and execution-focused approach. I thrive at the intersection of engineering and operations, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced controls to drive measurable improvements in uptime, efficiency, and reliability. My goal is to build long-term organizational capability by standardizing best practices, fostering innovation, and enabling cross-functional teams to sustain performance gains. Key Responsibilities & Achievements:
- Lead TAMKO’s enterprise strategy for web handling, tension control, and process stability.
- Drive reduction of sheet walk, sheet breaks, and line stops through digitization and optimization.
- Standardize performance of cutters, laminators, dancers, and unwind systems.
- Apply Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to eliminate chronic downtime.
- Guide modernization of controls and drive systems (Siemens S7-1500, advanced data logging).
- Pilot emerging technologies in edge guiding, roll cleaning, and predictive analytics.
- Build and lead a network of Web Handling SMEs across the company.
- Coach engineers, technicians, and operators on standards and anti-tampering practices.
- Define and track KPIs such as line stops per 10k SSQ, break frequency, and torque/tension variance.
- Deliver quarterly reports and audits to ensure accountability and sustainment.
