Jul. 2015 - Dec. 2018Greater Chicago AreaAs a part of the Strategic Planning/Strategic Sourcing team, I was responsible for managing various projects, taking them from conception, through feasibility analyses and presentations, approvals, budgeting, project execution and finally to completion, ensuring they were both on time and within budget. Project areas included: real estate analysis, new office openings, construction project financial management, procurement analysis, software implementation, market research, insurance claims, and vendor management. In this role I successfully worked with individuals across the Firm's domestic and international offices and at varying levels throughout the organization, including C-level executives. In addition to the main role of project management, I was also involved in performing economic reviews and developing process improvements at both Firm and office levels. Day to day tasks included: - Managing projects of varying size and complexity from beginning to completion - Analyzing and managing key vendor relationships including the evaluation of the cost of services and the identification of cost savings opportunities - Assisting with contract negotiation for key vendors and performing contract reviews including the evaluation of pricing and contract terms - Assisting in managing the Firm's construction projects including working with administrators and consultants to effectively budget and report on the cost of the Firm's construction projects - Supporting the budgeting and fixed asset needs of the accounting department - Overseeing and implementing various Firm and office initiatives - Managing and facilitating information requests - Performing various types of analysis to support Firm management and decision making, including: economic, cost/benefit and profitability analyses
