All three divisions collaborated to help package, prepare and market start-ups for launch and or sale. We also used the Ventures division to pursue our own investment and entrepreneurial endeavours. Batstone had offices in Cape Town and was comprised of a team of people from a range of backgrounds, including business analysts, coders, writers and strategists. We worked with over 80 start-ups in the technology and financial services sectors.

We developed a new app & brand that used behaviourial science, play psychology and data aggregation to enable people to manage their money day-to-day in a seamless app-like and real-time environment. We successfully launched the business and due to our customer take-up were approached by a leading SA financial services player for acquisition, which we accepted.
